Face masks

The SA Government strongly recommends that you wear a face mask if you leave your home and can’t stay 1.5 metres from others.

Children under 12 years of age don’t have to wear a mask. Those aged 2 years and younger must not wear a face mask or covering because they’re a choking and suffocation risk.

For more information about masks, visit the SA Gatherings and Work page on the healthdirect COVID-19 Restriction Checker
