Want to list a service with the NHSD?
The National Health Services Directory (NHSD) is a comprehensive, national directory of health services and practitioners. The Service Finder is the consumer-facing search tool of the NHSD.
To list a service with the NHSD, you can either register directly with the NHSD or register with Provider Connect Australia™ (PCA™). If you register with PCA™, you can then choose to publish your data to the NHSD and other business partners.
What is Provider Connect Australia™ (PCA™)?
PCA™ enables registered healthcare organisations to maintain their business information in one place and share it with multiple partners in their healthcare service delivery.
Once registered organisations update PCA™, it will automatically update the Service Finder, as well as other selected health service delivery partners, such as Primary Health Networks, healthcare directories, communication services, and more.
PCA™ is an initiative of the Australian Digital Health Agency.
How do I update and publish my data to the NHSD via PCA™?
If listing your information on the NHSD for the first time, then add or update your healthcare services (digitalhealth.gov.au) and ensure you have ticked the “Publish to National Health Services Directory” checkboxes at the bottom of the screen.
If you are already listed on the NHSD, then follow steps to Import services from NHSD (digitalhealth.gov.au).
