Current restrictions

The ACT is no longer in lockdown.

Early childhood education and care are open for all children. Schools have resumed face-to-face learning — including out-of-school-hours care.

Higher education and training must continue remote learning, except where essential instruction or learning activities cannot be adequately conducted remotely. Any onsite learning must comply with density restrictions of 1 person per 2 square metres.

Mandatory face masks

To learn about the face-mask rules that apply to you, see ‘Face masks — Australian Capital Territory' in the Restriction Checker.

Mandatory Check In CBR

The Check In CBR app is mandatory across most businesses, venues and events. See covid19.act.gov.au/business-and-work/check-in-cbr for more details.

For more information about restrictions in the ACT, visit covid19.act.gov.au. You can also call the COVID-19 helpline for Canberrans on (02) 6207 7244 between 8am and 8pm daily.
