Community Care Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy appointments can be made by phoning Community Health Intake on 02 6207 9977 between 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:30pm Wednesdays (excluding public holidays).

Service available at Gungahlin Child and Family Centre - Mondays and Tuesdays. Please phone to make an appointment.

Please bring any relevant medical investigations or results and Blue Book if appointment is for your baby.

Gungahlin Child and Family Centre

All physio treatment is quality evidence-based care and will usually include:
-	Hands-on treatment such as joint mobilisations, manipulation and massage;
-	Customised exercise programs (stretches and strengthening) that are easy to fit into your normal daily routine and let you keep working on your recovery between sessions;
-	Dry needling to promote healing and
-	Real Time Ultrasound imaging so that you can see your core muscles working helping you to recruit the right muscles

Sport and Spinal Physiotherapy

At our clinic, final year physiotherapy students provide one-on-one appointments under the supervision of qualified physiotherapists. We can treat adults and children over the age of 10 for all sports and musculoskeletal injuries, as well as post-operative rehabilitation.
