Some people get the symptoms of a small leak of blood from the aneurysm.
A leak from a brain aneurysm may cause a headache, and maybe nausea as well.
A leak from an aortic aneurysm would cause pain in the belly or the back.
A rupture of an aneurysm is very serious. If a brain aneurysm ruptures, it can cause a stroke and the person experiences a sudden, very severe headache, nausea and vomiting. They may become unconcious.
If an aortic aneurysms ruptures, the person gets sudden pain in the back or belly and feels very weak. They may black out.
A ruptured aneurysm can be fatal.
