Carers SA is a not-for-profit incorporated association with a mixed income base including funding by the SA and Australian Governments. They are part of a national network of Carers Associations and a member of Carers Australia, the recognised national peak body representing and advocating on behalf of family and friend carers throughout Australia.
With one in every eight Australians caring for a family member or friend, Carers SA is committed to providing specialised carer, aged, and disability support services.
They are committed to working alongside every community and caring family, including LGBTI and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, to improve support and advocacy services for them.
