Carers SA is a not for profit organisation that values and supports family carers in South Australia .

Carers SA’s mission is to promote, assist, empower and enhance the lives of family carers. Our core work includes:
  • Raising the profile of family carers, their caring role and contribution to our community
  • Providing direct services and supports to family carers and the people they care for
  • Providing information, advice, education and training
  • Connecting carers into local supports and services to meet their holistic needs
  • Initiating and promoting partnerships and collaboration with other organisations to better support family carers
  • Advocating and campaigning for change to improve the lives of family carers

We work to:
  • Improve the health, wellbeing, resilience and financial security of family carers
  • Ensure that caring is a shared responsibility of family, community and Government
