The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has issued an alert on Isotretinoin (Roaccutane).
Isotretinoin, originally sold as Roaccutane, is a prescription medicine used to treat patients with severe cystic acne who have not seen improvement after standard therapy.
Consumer advice: Let your doctor know immediately if you, your child or someone you care for is taking isotretinoin and starts to have any of the symptoms listed in the TGA alert.
