What this medicine is used for
(ARTG)
SYFOVRE is indicated for the treatment of adult patients with geographic atrophy (GA) secondary to age-related macular degeneration (AMD) with an intact fovea and when central vision is threatened by GA lesion growth. The benefits and risks of intravitreal pegcetacoplan should be discussed with the patient prior to commencing treatment. SYFOVRE should be administered by an eye specialist experienced in the management of geographic atrophy.
How to use this medicine

- Injection, solution
- Intravitreal-Within The Vitreous Cavity Of The Eye
- clear, colourless to light yellow solution essentially free of visible particulates in a glass vial, with a rubber stopper, aluminium seal and polypropylene flip off cap

- Refrigerate
- Shelf lifetime is 18 Months.
