Intal inhaler is a brand of puffer containing the active ingredient sodium cromoglycate. It is only available with a prescription.

Intal is used to treat asthma in adults and children. Asthma is a disease where your airways become inflamed (swollen), making it difficult for you to breathe. Intal is used regularly to prevent asthma symptoms from being triggered by allergy, exercise, cold air or things that irritate your airways. It works by reducing inflammation of your airways.

Intal is a puffer, which means you breathe the medicine in. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure how to use a puffer. They may recommend that you use a device called a spacer, which makes the puffer easier to use.
