What it is used for
Vigabatrin should be used under the general direction of a specialist practitioner who is experienced in the treatment of epilepsy for the treatment of refractory epilepsy which is not satisfactorily controlled by other antiepileptic drugs. It should be used, initially, as add on therapy.
