Asthma Australia works with people living with asthma, their family and friends, health professionals, researchers and governments to find the best treatments and practices to make sure life with asthma is the best it can be.
Vision and mission
Asthma Australia’s vison is that no one experiences a life restricted by asthma.
Asthma Australia are committed to halving the number of potentially preventable asthma hospitalisations by 2030.
They want everyone in the community to understand asthma, so they know how to help in an emergency.
They also want to challenge the way things are currently done, to keep improving asthma prevention and treatment outcomes for people with asthma.
How Asthma Australia can help
Asthma Australia provide support and information for people with asthma and their carers and help them understand how to manage asthma. They also help people learn what causes asthma symptoms and how to avoid triggers, how to administer Asthma First Aid and how to respond if someone close to you experiences symptoms.
Asthma Australia advocates for people with asthma and the people who care for them, and supports research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a potential CURE for asthma.
