Post-Surgery: All surgical clients attend a postoperative education talk session before discharge from hospital with family in attendance. This session is conducted by a Cardiac Rehabilitation nurse and physiotherapist.

Specialist appointments to see Dr Arnagretta Hunter; Echocardiography service; Stress Echo service; Holter monitors; ECGs.

Medical referrals, usually from a GP, are required to access the Medicare Rebate on most services provided at More than Medicine

The Canberra Heart Clinic provides; consultations, pre-op assessments, Pacemaker follow-ups, transthoracic echos, exercise stress echos, ECG performance and reporting, 24hr Holter and 96hr event monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, percutaneous coronary interventions.

Dr David McGaw is a general and interventional cardiologist who consults on all cardiology conditions. David specialises in Coronary Stenting through the artery in the wrist. David is also specialised in advanced non-surgical Structural Heart procedures including replacing Aortic Valves by TAVI; repairing Mitral Valves by MitraClip; reducing the risk of stroke in patients with AF; and closing Congenital Cardiac Defects such as PFO, ASD, VSD and PDAs.
