Redkite is a national cancer charity that provides professional and essential support to children and young people aged 0-24 years diagnosed with cancer, and their families.

Redkite believes the best way to support a child or young person with cancer is to support the whole family. Redkite has been there for thousands of children and young people with cancer and their families for over 30 years, and proudly continues to provide free support to families today.

Redkite is available for young people aged up to 24 with cancer and anyone caring for them, including parents, brothers and sisters, grandparents, step-parents, carers, friends of the family and partners of the young people.

Redkite provides:

  • support to help young people stay on track with their education and career goals
  • financial assistance to help families cover the cost of essentials throughout treatment and beyond
  • information, counselling and group support to answer your questions and to work with you on your concerns.

Support is available for bereaved family members for as long as needed. Whatever the situation, Redkite will do their best to help.

To access support including information, counselling and practical assistance, contact or phone 1800 REDKITE (1800 733 548). Redkite's support team is available Monday to Friday, 9am-7pm (AEST).
