What this medicine is for
May assist in the management of colds by reducing the severity and duration of symptoms. Helps maintain / support healthy immune function/system. Vitamin C helps maintain healthy gums. Assists in minor wound healing. May assist in tissue repair of minor wounds. It is an antioxidant which can act as a free radical scavenger. As Vitamin C is not stored in body, regular intake is desirable. Helps reduce the severity and duration of cold symptoms when taken regularly An antioxidant for the maintenance of good health. Antioxidant properties. Vitamin C has been shown to support both the production and function of white blood cells (leukocytes). Vitamin C is important in the production of collagen. Collagen is found in the dermis layer of the skin and plays a role in skin flexibility and elasticity. Smokers require additional vitamin C. The elderly require more Vitamin C. May assist in absorption of dietary iron. Vitamin C works synergistically with vitamin E
