What it is used for
Hypertension: May be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs. Oedema: Associated with congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, nephrotic syndrome, acute glomerulonephritis, chronic renal failure (see Precautions), premenstrual tension, and drug induced oedema.
