What it is used for
Hypertension: LIPRACE is indicated in the treatment of mild to moderate essential hypertension. It may be used alone or concomitantly with other classes of antihypertensive agents. Sufficient data have nor been provided to support the use of lisinopril in severe hypertension or renovascular hypertension. Congestive heart failure: LIPRACE is also indicated in the treatment of heart failure. In such patients, it is recommended the LIPRACE be administered together with a diuretic. Acute myocardial infarction: LIPRACE is indicated for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction in haemodynamically stable patients, defined as patients who are not in cardiogenic shock and who have a systolic blood pressure greater than 100 mmHg. LIPRACE may be initiated within 24 hours of an acute myocardial infarction.
