What it is used for
For the treatment in Papua New Guinea and in all states except Victoria and Tasmania who exhibit manifestations of systemic envenoming and the snake has not been identified. In Tasmania, Tiger snake antivenom should be used rather than polyvalent whilst in Victoria a combination of Tiger snake antivenom and brown snake antivenom is the preferred treatment.
How to take it
The way to take this medicine is: Intravenous. This medicine or fluids is given through a needle or tube (catheter) inserted into a vein.
- Store at 2 to 8 degrees Celsius
- Do not Freeze
- Protect from Light
- Shelf lifetime is 3 Years.
