The Physiotherapy team provides treatment to adults with musculoskeletal, neurological and respiratory conditions to help them achieve a better quality of life. Both centre and home-based physiotherapy is available on a short-term basis. Home-based physiotherapy is offered only for people who are housebound and living in the City of Maroondah.The physiotherapist will assess a person's condition and then develop an appropriate treatment plan with them. This may include education, self management techniques, home exercises and referral to community exercise. Clinic sessions are not ongoing and are for a limited time only. There is a strong emphasis on self-management.
