B-Attitudes Inc.

B-Attitudes is a not-for-profit service with a strong Christian foundation, for the individual who wants to be drug and/or alcohol free. This program is for the individual who is desperate to become free of the slavery of drugs, and who has the guts to bulldoze addiction with determination and the help of a therapist, whilst living in their own environment.The program is based on therapeutic relationship, leading to psychotherapy and the discovery of the cause of the addiction. This is not a brief intervention, nor do we minimise drug use or problematic alcohol use.We do, however, offer a non-judgemental atmosphere for personal growth, combined with 15 years experience of helping individuals to achieve a long term drug free solution, leading to a fulfilling and abundant life.

North Metropolitan Commmonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre

Provides short term and emergency respite for Carers: This includes respite under the following programs:
National Respite for Carers Program (NRCP), Mental Health, Young Carers, Carers caring for someone with a severe and profound disability. There are also a limited number of packages that allow flexbility for consumer directed care respite and dementia education and training.

Our approach to helping people with addictions is based on  a model of recovery that emphasises the importance of evidence-based medical intervention; strong relationships and a stable home life; and empowering people to take up a responsible role in the community.

o Fremantle Xchange: 13 Queen Street, Fremantle. Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 12.00pm – 3.00pm.

Palmerston Association is a leading and respected not for profit organisation supporting people with alcohol and other drug (AOD) issues in Western Australia. 

Our services are free, confidential and everyone is welcome.

Family program 
Family counselling provides much needed support to families who are dealing with the drug and alcohol use of others close to them. The program also helps the family play an important role in the recovery process. 

Palmerston's counsellors are skilled in helping families draw on their own wisdom to bring about positive changes in their lives. 
Continuing care program 
Palmerston's continuing care program offers support after the conclusion of a residential program or counselling service. Often people just want support to check in or connect with others. In recognition of this Palmerston offers: 
• SMART Recovery groups 
• social groups 
• telephone based wellness checks 
• referrals to other self-help groups 

These services are supported by peer workers who have a personal experience of AOD and mental health concerns. 

Evening services 
Evening counselling and support groups are available Monday to Thursday. 

Our team 
Collectively our team has a wealth of experience, including counselling, working with community groups, families and children, people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities and working with Aboriginal people. 

How to access our service 
People can refer themselves directly or be referred by other services including mental health, corrective services, child protection and general practitioners.

Palmerston Perth offers a wide range of services to the community and support to the Palmerston Farm Therapeutic Community (TC). Programs include family support, counselling and group work, court diversion services, assessment for entry into the Therapeutic Community program, and continuing care services.
