Childbirth Classes Childbirth education classes are conducted bi-monthly at the Hospital by our highly skilled midwives. Husbands/partners or friends are encouraged to attend with expecting mothers.

Expectant parents are encouraged to book in early. The Maternity Unit Midwife can provide information on antenatal classes and a home visit service after the birth. The antenatal clinics (known as Maternity@Melton) offer a range of antenatal care models and choice of hospitals for birthing. 
Models of care include midwifery, obstetric or shared care. 
Women can choose to birth at Bacchus Marsh & Melton Regional Hospital or Sunshine Hospital. 
Melton Health provides the Obstetrician cover for the clinics. 
Eligibility: Pregnant women birthing at Bacchus Marsh & Melton Regional Hospital (BMI<40) or Sunshine (Western) Hospital.
