Women who attend this clinic will be cared for by Midwives, and at key points in their pregnancy will visit your doctor for an appointment.
The Clinic operates every Wednesday, by appointment.

Midwifery services available by appointment only. It is preferred that mothers book in between 12 - 16 weeks of pregnancy.

Midwifery services, located in Yandilla section, offer modern technology with experienced midwives in a relaxed atmosphere to provide a caring, safe, environment for mother and baby.

Antenatal classes are held on Monday evenings and details given on enrolment at the Community Centre, Girdlestone Street, Ararat.

Available by appointment only. This care is available for any admissions during the pregnancy, birth and post natal periods.  Childbirth Classes Childbirth education classes are conducted bi-monthly at the Hospital by our highly skilled midwives. Husbands/partners or friends are encouraged to attend with expecting mothers.

Central Highlands Rural Health - Kyneton Health

The antenatal clinics (known as Maternity@Melton) offer a range of antenatal care models and choice of hospitals for birthing.  Models of care available include midwifery, obstetric or shared care.  Women can choose to birth at either Bacchus Marsh & Melton Regional Hospital or Sunshine Hospital.  Patients who plan to birth at Bacchus Marsh & Melton Regional Hospital are seen by midwives from the Bacchus Marsh Hospital while women planning to birth at Sunshine Hospital are seen by midwives from Sunshine Hospital. Melton Health provides the Obstetrician cover for the clinics. Eligibility: Pregnant women birthing at Bacchus Marsh & Melton Regional Hospital (BMI<40) or Sunshine (Western) Hospital.
