The Eye Hospital was purpose built in 1993, when the increasingly sophisticated and specialised nature of ophthalmic surgery was recognised.  The Eye Hospital was the first registered day procedure centre in Tasmania. and has always strived to achieve best practice to ensure patient safety and care.

Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and Music Therapy Services for all ages. Mobile therapy is available to any location, as well as in-clinic appointments. MouthWorks staff visit a wide range of services in the community, ranging from early childhood education centres, schools, homes and aged care facilities. We work with infants, pre-school and school aged children, adults and older people, including palliative care.
