We work with asylum seekers and refugee communities to promote health, make cultural transitions, find solutions to community issues and strengthen community groups.

We work closely with bi cultural and bilingual workers and community elders and leaders to carry out this work.

We have counsellors and advocates who work with asylum seekers and refugees to support people to rebuild their lives in Australia; to manage difficult life situations and to manage and process the effects of past trauma.

Companion House

Hepatitis ACT is Canberra's community hepatitis organisation.  We are funded by ACT Health to provide a comprehensive range of hepatitis related services including information, education, training, prevention, support, advocacy and representation and referral.  Because some countries and regions have an elevated prevalence of hepatitis B and hepatitis C, we offer priority access for people from culturally and linguistically diverse groups.
