The Geriatric Oncology Service aims to improve the lives and support networks of older adults living with cancer. We understand the diagnosis of cancer and related treatments and as part of our care plan for RAH Cancer Centre patients, offer ongoing support when you are at home. We can put you in contact with a social worker, palliative care nurse, dietitian, psychologist, pharmacist, occupational therapist, oncology nurse or geriatrician who can provide emotional and practical support.

The practice has a dedicated group of geriatricians offering consultation service ranging from private hospitals, clinic setting and residential care setting. 
We provide consultations for 'comprehensive geriatric assessment' to assist general practitioners with managing geriatric syndromes in people over the age of 65 years old such as: Frailty/Sarcopenia, Cognitive impairment/Dementia, Malnutrition, Falls, polypharmacy and diagnostic medical problems in older people.
