The Geriatric Oncology Service aims to improve the lives and support networks of older adults living with cancer. We understand the diagnosis of cancer and related treatments and as part of our care plan for RAH Cancer Centre patients, offer ongoing support when you are at home: EntryProcedures The assessment is in the form of a mailed questionnaire, to show your concerns related to cancer, your health and wellbeing. We can put you in contact with a social worker, palliative care nurse, dietitian, psychologist, pharmacist, occupational therapist, oncology nurse or geriatrician who can provide emotional and practical support: WaitingListDetails The goal is to improve your ability to cope with day to day life and offer support to you and your family during this time. Your medical oncologist will be kept up to date in regards to any additional help you require
