Provides monitoring to assist in the optimal management of blood glucose control. Diabetes education service includes: - - Education and support for people with diabetes and their carers regarding self-management, lifestyle modification, equipment supply and maintenance. May include hospital inpatients and general community clients. - Paediatric and adolescent diabetes clinic. - Diabetes in pregnancy endocrinology clinic.

Bendigo Primary Care Centre

We assist people to adapt to life with Diabetes, set goals for implementing and adjusting self-management practices as their diabetes, life or circumstances change.

We offer individual appointments or a monthly education program for people newly diagnosed or people who need to update their knowledge on diabetes.

The Diabetes and You group covers topics on nutrition, exercise, medications, complications, setting goals, foot care and general health and lifestyle management principles.
