Dialysis Australia is an accredited and experienced provider of home-based dialysis service across all Australia States and Territories. As an enabler of in-home dialysis care, Dialysis Australia is changing the landscape for people living with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) requiring haemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis. This enables patients and their families to have more time for life.

This service is available for people with chronic renal failure requiring haemodialysis.  The unit is a satellite of Monash Medical Centre.  There are four machines at the hospital, which are available for permanent and holiday clients.

The Haemodialysis Unit at Colac Area Health provides a friendly, relaxed environment for dialysis clients requiring treatment within our community with End Stage Renal Failure. We also offer a service to visitors to our region requiring dialysis whilst they are on holidays within our area when possible.

Dialysis Service - Provision of renal replacement therapy in the form of haemodialysis, involving the use of a machine to pump blood through an extracorporeal circuit and a filter. This treatment may be permanent or temporary, depending on the patient's suitability for transplantation, or the option of peritoneal dialysis.
