InMotion Physiotherapy - Woden

Initial consultation/treatment are 45 minutes in duration. You should arrive 5 to 10 minutes prior to your initial consultation to allow us to enter your details on our data system. Mr Nash is available Saturdays by appointment only. 

The physiotherapist will conduct a thorough subjective and objective examination. Following this process, treatment will be provided including advice on how to manage your problem until your subsequent visit. 

Subsequent consultations are approximately 30 minutes in duration. The Physiotherapist will reassess your problem and then provide appropriate treatment and/or advice.

Some conditions will be best managed by a home program, others will require a course of treatment of variable duration. This will be discussed with you at the time of your visit to the clinic.

Woden Physiotherapy & Sports Injuries Clinic

Particularly known for working with people with movement problems due to damage to the nervous and/or sensory systems. This includes movement problems due to stroke, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, recovery from neurosurgery, peripheral neuropathies, muscular dystrophies, Cerebral Palsy, spinal cord injury, and motor neurone disease.

We provide comprehensive post-cancer physiotherapy including targeted stretches and exercise, and lymphoedema management services provided to patients post both upper limb and lower limb cancer surgery including lymph node removal.

Claire and Carolyn have developed a Baby Handling Course due to be launched in December 2014 that provides information for expectant parents around child development and early baby handling.  The aim of this course is to prevent the incidence of plagiocephaly, and in the event of plagiocephaly to reduce it's severity by education parents on how to prevent it and how to address it should they identify it.
