The nurse will ask about your symptoms and guide you to the right care, whether that’s looking after yourself at home or getting help from a health service in your area. You can also access key health information, electronic prescriptions and more through the 1800MEDICARE app.

The Poisons Information Centre provides expert phone advice on the assessment and management of adults and children exposed to possible poisons. These include, medicines, chemicals, cleaning products, bites and stings. they provide advices to both the general public and health professionals and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Calls are answered by Specialists in Poison Information on consultation with Clinical Toxicologists. Note: We do not provide face to face consultations.

Pregnancy, Birth and Baby is a national Australian Government service providing support and information for expecting parents and parents of children, from birth to 5 years of age. 

Supporting parents on the journey from pregnancy to preschool. Get the guidance and reassurance you need about developmental and behavioural concerns from our maternal child health nurses or talk to our counsellors for emotional support.
