The Diabetes service provides education, treatment and support to newly diagnosed diabetes patients, patients commencing insulin.
All patients referred to the Diabetes Unit require a referral and current pathology results including HbA1c, fasting lipids, EUC, albumin/creatinine ratio, LFT, Uric Acid and FBC.

Wellington Community Health Centre Diabetes Education Service

Provides health screening, treatment and educational services for people with or at risk of developing diabetes or pre-diabetic conditions. Topics include insulin administration, blood-sugar monitoring and hypo management. All patients referred to the Diabetes Unit require a referral and current pathology results including HbA1c, fasting lipids, EUC, albumin/creatinine ratio, LFT, Uric Acid and FBC.

Marathon Health - Dubbo

Provides support and information on all aspects of living with diabetes, including support groups.
