Nurse-Led Clinic will provide care for urgent, non-emergency care needs. 

The clinic provides the local community timely access to urgent, non-emergency care, including access to virtual medical support when required.  

This service provides urgent care after hours for illnesses and injuries, when patients are unable to see their usual doctor. 

This is not an emergency service. In the case of a life-threatening illness or injury, ring 000 or attend your closest emergency department.

Gumeracha District Soldiers Memorial Hospital

We provide timely, high-quality care for minor illnesses and injuries close to home, ensuring specialist input when needed. Services include treatment for colds, COVID, minor injuries, skin conditions, simple infections, as well as nurse-initiated sick/carer certificates. We offer virtual medical support with doctors, urgent scripts, and take-home packs of certain medications. We do not treat life-threatening conditions, paediatric care under 5, or mental health/drug issues.

These services are provided by our Registered Nurses (RN) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) who can provide care to you at our clinics, or in your home. This includes services such as wound care, PICC line care, post-acute care such as drain management, supra pubic catheter care and injectable medications.
