Macedon Ranges Health

The team of Occupational Therapist's (OT's) will visit individuals in their homes to assess and promote independence and the participation in activities for daily living. Can recommend and prescribe aids, equipment or home modifications such as grab rails, ramps, scooters and aids for daily living which may assist the individual to continue to live safely and independently at home. Also provides individuals with strategies to reduce falls in the community and energy conservation techniques.

Mecwacare - Allied Health Ballan

Occupational Therapist (OT) visits clients in their home and completes a home and functional assessment to identify any activities they may be having difficulty with. The OT can recommend aids, equipment or home modifications which may assist the client to continue to live safely and independently in their home. Recommendations can include shower stools, over toilet frames and other personal care aids, scooters, wheelchairs, personal alarms, rails and ramps.

Bacchus Marsh Community Health Centre

For those families with NDIS funding, we can support children 0-8 years of age, providing up to 12 months of supports.  We accept parent/carer self-referrals and referrals from GPs, paediatricians, specialists and maternal and child health nurses.

For other families, we can support children 0-8 years of age, providing short term supports.  We accept referrals from enhanced maternal health nurses, the Royal Children’s Hospital and preschool field officers only.

Sunbury and Cobaw Community Health 

Occupational Therapy aims to increase independence in everyday tasks (activities of daily living) e.g. dressing, grooming, eating, drinking, personal hygiene, toileting, domestic tasks, shopping, cooking, use of transport and communication devices etc. It also aims to create safe home, community and work environments and support people in return to activities.  Occupational therapy provides home assessment, equipment prescription and individual therapy and group therapy sessions.

Everyday Independence Melton

The Occupational Therapy Department provides services for children aged 0-15 years inclusive.
We provides assessment of fine and gross motor skills, play skills and sensory processing abilities, coordination, handwriting and activities of daily living skills. After assessment, if therapy is deemed appropriate, intervention is provided in short term therapy and children are eligible for multiple modules of therapy, if deemed necessary. All services are centre based.
