Free and confidential youth health service that provides a safe place for young people aged 12 to 25, who are homeless, at risk, or vulnerable to seek information, support and connection to services. Primary health care service utilising an integrated treatment model that provides medical services, alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment services and mental health services within the one team.

Streetlink - Smithfield

Provides counselling and therapy for children, adolescents, adults and families dealing with drug, alcohol and other dependencies, relationship difficulties, anxiety, behavioural issues, depression, stress, grief, trauma, psychiatric conditions, personality disorders, workplace issues, conflict resolution, hepatitis and HIV. Sex therapy solutions. Emergency appointments, after hours, weekend and home visits are available in certain circumstances.  After hours appointments are available.

This service can be provided in both Polish and English language.

After hour practice arrangements are available. Skype sessions can also be provided for country clients, by arrangement.

Pink Elephant Counselling & Psychotherapy

Counselling is provided for sexual concerns in women or men, difference in levels of sexual desire with your partner, sexual identity, living with the effects of homophobia, sexual assault or child sexual abuse, living with sexually transmitted infections, termination of pregnancy - pre and post termination issues, sexual issues associated with disabilities. Working with communities in greatest need - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, teenagers, young adults, people from rural and remote areas, diverse CALD backgrounds, same sex attracted (GLBTIQS) people and people with disabilities and those with low socio-economic status. 

Rural clients can phone to arrange for a telephone counselling appointment. The counsellor will then call you at the pre-arranged time.

There may be a waiting time for appointments, as there is often a high demand for counselling.  However, some issues such as unplanned pregnancy are considered a priority and arrangements will be made to schedule an appointment as soon as possible.

Coping with a spinal cord injury may be the greatest challenge that you, your family and friends will face in your life. PARAQUAD SA offers a Home Based Counselling service free of charge. A qualified social worker will visit you and provide assistance for you in adapting to living in the community after sustaining a spinal cord injury.
