Sydney Echo Clinic is a cardiac diagnostic imaging practice. Services provided include echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms and Holter Monitors. A valid request form or referral is required for Medicare rebates, though patients can be seen entirely out of pocket without a valid request form or referral.

At Sydney Heart Centre our cardiologists see patients with a wide range of adult heart disorders in consultation including Coronary Disease, Hypertension, Heart failure, Cardiomyopathy (dilated and hypertrophic), Valvular Heart disease, Aortic disease including Marfan syndrome, Heart Rhythm disorders (Clinical Electrophysiology), and Familial and Congenital heart disease. We also have special interests in Sleep Apnoea and Heart disease and Heart:Lung interactions.

The Cardiology Department at RPA is a part of the Sydney Local Health District, and a unit of the University of Sydney. We are a highly academically active department with extensive research interests in clinical cardiology and basic sciences. We provide a comprehensive range of in-patient, ambulatory and consultative services both within the hospital and the wider community.

You will need a current referral from your General Practitioner or Specialist before your Consultation or tests in our Rooms.  A GP referral will be current for 12 months and a Specialist referral for 3 months. 

Bulk billing is available for Pensioners are bulk billed & DVA patients are covered in full by DVA.
