Anxiety Disorders Support Groups	

The group provides an avenue for participants to share their hope, motivations and their journey in a safe, supportive environment. Support Groups provide an opportunity for people to help one another, understand their anxiety disorder and the recovery process.

Aims: To offer friendship and understanding by reaching out to bereaved parents, to the surviving siblings and other family members to support them in the grief and trauma which follows the death of a child from any cause and at any age.  Offers a 24 hour telephone service.

The Compassionate Friends

Volunteers are matched with HACC eligible clients. Volunteers will walk and/or care for pets where pet ownership would be at risk without the provision of this service

Alkira is a community organisation that support people with intellectual disabilities and their families. We have support services in the Whitehorse area for people with a disability as well as our Carer s Network for supporting family members.The Carer s Network, led by Alkira and a dedicated group of passionate carers, organise a variety of enjoyable and relaxing social events, as well as informative sessions focused on creating meaningful connections and mutual support.
