The University of Queensland's (UQ) Physiotherapy Clinics provide a wide range of physiotherapy, rehabilitation and healthcare services to the community. Together we'll identify how to enhance your activity and participation so that you can get the most out of life. Our clinics provide speciality physiotherapy for children and adolescents; musculoskeletal and sporting injuries; and mobility, balance, vestibular and neurological issues. Referrals are not required to attend our clinics.

Servcies include treatment of all musculoskeletal (disorders of muscles, bones and support structures of the body resulting in physical impairment) and sports injuries (injury occuring during exercise or sport) for people of all ages and activity. Consultations provide individual diagnosis and management plans (treatment can include all or some of the following, advice and education, hands-on treatment, therapeutic exercise, electronic modalities such as TENS or Ultrasound, strapping, orthoticsm bracing or mobility aids, pain management, preventions strategies) to include specific therapeutic exercise (systematic and planned performance of body movements with the goal of restoring physical function) prescription, manual therapy (precise and graded gliding movement or manipulation performed on the joints or tissues performed by a skilled professional) and advice on ergonomics (design and arrangement of objects and spaces for maximal safety), postural correction and movement disorders.
