AIR Detox provides medically supervised withdrawal (detox) for alcohol, cannabis and cocaine in the patient’s home. The service includes comprehensive medical assessment, a 7-day structured detox with daily doctor reviews and monitoring, and prescribed medication where indicated. A support person is required. An individualised aftercare plan and up to 12 months of medical follow-up are included. Available in-person on the Gold Coast or via telehealth Australia-wide.

The Port Hedland Sobering Up Centre is operated by Bloodwood Tree Association Inc.

The sobering up centres in WA are funded by the Mental Health Commission (MHC) and run by local community organisations. The prime purpose of these centres is to provide a safe, care oriented environment in which persons found intoxicated in public may sober up, reducing the likelihood of them causing further harm to themselves or others in the community.
