Inner Brisbane Public Intoxication Program

The only youth specific detox in Queensland. A residential non medicated detoxification service providing detox for all drugs including speed, heroin, cannabis, inhalants and poly drug use. People aged 13 - 18 years. Can stay up to eleven days. Worker support 24 hours a day. ADAWS is a residential (or live-in) program for young people aged 13 to 18 who feel they have a problem with their drug use and want to withdraw or detox.

CarerLinks North - Support for Carers

Diverts intoxicated people from the watch house to sobering centres. Accommodates clients over 17 years of age. Provides short term sobering up accommodation and a support service for those who are at risk to themselves or others as a consequence of their inebriated state and who are prepared to admit themselves voluntarily.

Provides innovative primary health care services, information, referral and education to Indigenous young Australians aged 12-25 who are homeless, disadvantaged or at risk of homelessness. Provides clinical services, counselling and support, education sessions and workshops, outreach and mobile programs and community education and awareness.

QuIHN is a state-wide, not for profit, and non-government health service which provides a variety of health services to illicit drug users throughout Queensland. QuIHN provides medical services, needle syringe programs, counselling, support services, distribution of information, education and training, workforce development initiatives, life skills programs and services that relate to illicit drug use, blood borne viruses, sexual health and other psychological and physical health issues.
