Goulburn Valley Health - Community Health @ GV Health

The Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service (VPRS) specifically caters for children and adolescents who, as a result of injury, medical/surgical intervention, or functional impairment, will benefit from a program of developmentally appropriate, time-limited, goal-focused interdisciplinary rehabilitation.

Patients attend Goulburn Valley Health where telehealth clinic is held with rehabilitation physicians based at RCH.

Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service

Occupational Therapy service provides assessment and treatment of patients in hospital and home based settings. The intervention emphasis is on minimisation of dysfunction and disability and enhancement of quality of life and occupational roles. The purpose of OT is to assist patients to return to independent living where possible and optimise functional capacity.

Referral Process:
Referrals are accepted from doctors, nurses or other allied health staff.
