Leichhardt Community Group

Established in 1987 by local Mums and Dads of twins, triplets or more. Our association covers the boundaries of Springfield to Gatton and encompasses Ipswich and its surrounding areas of Esk, Toogoolawah and Boonah. 
As a non profit, volunteer based organisation our aims are to provide practical and emotional support, access to information, friendship and social functions. To allow an opportunity for parents to share their coping strategies and discuss events unique to their situation, through communicating and sharing of information on the care and raising of multiples.

Ipswich Multiple Birth Association

Assistance to women and children survivors of domestic and family violence. This includes court support, crisis support, counselling, group work and referrals to all sections of the community.

ComLink Companions - Club based environment where clients can sing, chat and mix with others in a friendly atmosphere.
Busy Bees -Craft-based  social group. Clients meet to do craft, chat and enjoy morning tea.

Hannah's Foundation was started with the aims of providing support to the families of those who had lost loved ones through drowning and to prevent and to raise awareness of the risks of drowning around Australia.

Providing support services for all persons and families touch by drowning or water accidents.

Carer support groups are run twice each month and are a time for carers to connect with one another, a place where new carers can feel supported and where carers can talk and be understood by people who relate to what they are going through. While the coffee mornings are intended for carers it is not exclusive to carers, and many carers bring their partner or loved ones they care for with them. Age is no barrier. Everyone is welcome to come along.

Carer Coffee mornings are organised each month and are held in the West Moreton Region in Queensland only:

1st Wednesday of each month,  10:00am - 12 noon, at Queens Park Cafe, Ipswich.

2nd Monday of each month, 11:30am -1:30pm,  Fernvale Bakery, Fernvale.

Each facility has good parking available and is wheelchair friendly.

The Salvation Army Aged Care Plus Counselling, Support, Information and Advocacy

The Gailes Community House is a not-for-profit community centre that offers programs and support services to people from 0-99 and older. Services include life skills, social engaging activities, programs for children aged 0-5 years, opportunities for volunteers, free internet access and other community use
