Community Counselling and Care

Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and Sexologist. A member of the AASW who are the professional body for social workers and set the benchmarks for practice, focusing on social justice, human rights and issues that impact the quality of life of all Australians. 

A member of the Society of Australian Sexologists. SAS represents health and allied health professionals working in the area of sex therapy, sexuality education, sexual health and sexology.

Amorism

An all ages, neuro-affirming counselling, therapy and psychosocial support service. Current therapists are AASW accredited mental health social worker Celeste Raymond and AASW accredited social worker Rachel Fenn. Medicare and private health rebates apply for referrals through GP with MHTP. Therapies provided include EMDR, CBT, DBT, IPT, play based therapy, Marte Meo. Specialist expertise in navigating complex psychosocial issues such as developmental trauma, family violence, and disability.

FeelBetter Limestone Coast

Anita is an accredited social worker specialising in working with children from 3 to 18, purposefully using play, games, and creative arts therapeutically to promote growth, early intervention and healing. Also provides therapeutic support to parents and families adjusting to a disability diagnosis or feeling overwhelmed by their child’s struggles.

Lake Bolac Bush Nursing Centre

A social worker is available to assist people with issues affecting their lives. The service is available to in-patients and out-patients. This may be through counselling, groups, advocacy, community development, resources, community education or worker and student supervision.
