The South Eastern and Northern Sydney Family Referral Service can receive referrals from government and non government agencies including allied health and GP's.  

We provide short term work with families either face to face in their home or community or over the phone. We work with families with children 0-18yrs and young people by referring them to services in their local area.

The nurse will ask about your symptoms and guide you to the right care, whether that’s looking after yourself at home or getting help from a health service in your area. Referrals to all Community Health Services in Southern NSW LHD processed via single point of entry. Each Community Health Service may have separate referral and eligibility criteria. Some services may require a GP referral.

Southern NSW LHD Community Health Central Intake

The Poisons Information Centre provides expert phone advice on the assessment and management of adults and children exposed to possible poisons. These include, medicines, chemicals, cleaning products, bites and stings. they provide advices to both the general public and health professionals and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Calls are answered by Specialists in Poison Information on consultation with Clinical Toxicologists. Note: We do not provide face to face consultations.
