Heart Kids Of SA Inc

HeartKids are dedicated to provide support, encouragement and hope to families of children with Heart Disease, while raising awareness and vital funding into the causes of this chronic disease. While for many families of these children the future is clouded with uncertainty, our goal is to secure the futures of our very special kids. We achieve this through our work in support, awareness, research and advocacy.

Social support programs Monday to Friday 10 am to 2 pm.

The Nostra Casa program is a volunteer- based home visiting program; the one-to-one approach allows for flexible and individual forms of support.

Centre based respite is also provided to carers.

The CIC can assist older Italian speaking members of the community to access schemes and services which help them remain independent and living in their home in the community.

Coordinating Italian Committee

CIC co-ordinates home visits, transport, community meals, exercise and social activities for elderly members of the Italian speaking community. We aim to foster the social, educational, and cultural interests of member organisations and promote the well being of Italian Australians and are actively assisted by our many volunteers. CIC is a community-based umbrella organisation of Italian Australian Clubs and Associations in South Australia.

If you are directly or indirectly affected by hepatitis B or C, Hepatitis SA provides you support through a telephone information and support line, a peer based support group, free printed information, a library service, opportunities to participate in self-development projects. Services offered by your local ABA group could include a library of breastfeeding and parenting books that can be borrowed free of charge by ABA members. Some groups will have instructional DVDs available for you to view. ABA members receive a local group newsletter with upcoming activities and local group news.
