We are a free service for adults offering a safe & welcoming environment. Providing a range of wellbeing services; initial assessment, information, referral, short to medium-term care, and support navigating the mental health system. Supporting individuals with moderate to severe mental health needs, we have a multidisciplinary care team (Clinicians, Peer Workers, Aboriginal Health Work, Relationship, AOD &, Employment Support). SMMHC is accessible without need for an appointment or GP referral.

Shellharbour Medicare Mental Health Centre

Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Outpatient Clinic for patients with ongoing depression and PTSD. If patients have tried and failed two or more antidepressants, transcranial magnetic stimulation is referred. A GP or psychiatrist referral is necessary.

We offer a welcoming place for people to access mental health information, services and supports from qualified professionals over extended hours. Anyone can reach out for support for themselves, a loved one or patient. It is free and no appointment or referral is needed.
