Commonly treated conditions include cancer of kidney, prostate, bladder and male genitalia; urinary tract stones; male lower urinary tract dysfunction. Complex & multi-day elective surgical procedures are performed at FMC. Day procedures or less complex overnight procedures are performed at Noarlunga Hospital. All acute presentations are assessed and treated at FMC. An outpatient nurse continence service provides bladder issues management, including incontinence.

Procedures performed are Cystoscopy (examination of the bladder lining) Vasectomy and Vasectomy Reversal, Trans Rectal Ultrasound and Biopsy (diagnosis of tumours of the prostate), Bladder Flow Test, Urodynamic evaluation (pressures within the bladder) and various other minor Urological procedures.
