The ACT Genetics Service provides genetic counselling and clinical genetic consultations for people with concerns about the possibility of an inherited condition in themselves or their family or with concerns about findings in a pregnancy. It is a free service based at the Canberra Hospital. It is preferable to have a referral from a medical or allied health professional.

The Healthy Lifestyle Program provides lifestyle advice and support, including exercise groups and healthy eating classes.

Winnunga Nimmityjah Aboriginal Health Service

Provides unbiased and non-directive pregnancy options counselling to women with unplanned pregnancy, including where relevant and acceptable to her, to her partner and/or family.  This service may also be provided to partners and/or family who may require information and support, provided access by this group does not compromise access by women with unplanned pregnancies.  

Sexual Health and Family Planning ACT (SHFPACT)

Canberra Blind Society (CBS) employs a Client Services Officer who can interview you in your own home or CBS office to discuss ant concerns you may have in managing the effects of blindness or low vision. You can choose from a range of options offered by CBS or other blindness organisations or community services.

The Royal Society for the Blind - ACT

Supports young people aged 12-24 who are living with cancer.

The services is provided by phone or online counselling for this area, it is free and there is no limit to the number of sessions available.
