Maitland Community Care is a not for profit community managed business providing a range of services to support frail aged and younger people with a disability to remain living at home within the Maitland Local Government Area. Maitland Community Care can work with you to identify the range of services you may need to meet your needs. You may just need one service or a selection of our quality services so you can remain living in the Maitland area.

The services we provide are all based around our aim to enable our clients to live independent lives to the fullest. They include:- A centre based Day Care called The Friendship Club. Help with Cleaning and Maintenance around the House. Transport to and from critical events such as Doctor's appointments, shopping, etc. Assistance with Shopping Social events and Outings. Meals on Wheels Personal Care Beresfield Community Care is a registered provider of supports under the National Disability Support Scheme (NDIS). Mens Events Carers group Our office is open from 8:30am - 3:00pm Monday-Friday, however our Field Staff work 7:30am - 5:00pm Mon - Fri and by appointment Saturday and Sunday. We can also provide services for participants outside of these hours by appointment.

Calvary Community Care - Hunter

Calvary Community Care provides services to support people to live independently at home and actively participate in their community. Services can be provided under a government subsidised package, delivered on a private basis or as a combination of both.

Novacare - Newcastle

We provide outings and a meal for Clients who enjoy the company of others but can't get out much these days.Three days a week we take clients to our lovely room at Tighes Hill Graces Place (named in honour of one of our longest serving volunteer Grace Woolcock) for a game of bingo, a theme day e.g. Xmas in July, a nostalgic movie etc.We also go on outings to museums, club lunches etc.

Once a fortnight, one of our Volunteers hold a movie morning at his very own beautifully appointed cinema room.

Newcastle Meals on Wheels - Social Support

Novacare Respite - Ailsa Craig Respite Cottage

Respite cottage, provides day and overnight respite to older people living in the community.

Carers NSW - Newcastle

Support Group for people with Parkinson's Disease and their carers. This group meets at the Club on the second Thursday of the month from 10:00am to 11:30am.

Support Group for people with Parkinson's Disease and also for their carers, Library of up-to-date books, dvd's and audio information available to members to borrow on a monthly basis.
