Support and Counselling for Breast Cancer Care, Education and Advice, Information, Advocacy, Referrals, Provision of Surgical Bras, Temporary Prothesis, Cushions sets, Access to Funding as appropriate.

The Clinical Nurse Consultant provides accurate information, comfort and support to clients with breast cancer, their family and carers, throughout their breast cancer journey.  The nurse provides counselling and referral to appropriate community resources that may be required from diagnosis, during or after treatment.  A range of literature, brochures and booklets are available with the latest information regarding treatment, care and community resources.

West Gippsland Medical Clinic - Barkly Street

Provides a Hospital in the Home (HitH) service which is the provision of acute care to public hospital patients in the comfort of the individual's own home or other suitable environment. Additional home support can also be arranged if this is required. These professionals are on-call and can be contacted 24 hours a day.  No cost is incurred to you or your family as you are considered an 'inpatient' of the hospital whilst on the program and you are eligible for access to the services available.
