Alternatively, public immunisation sessions run by the City of Mount Gambier are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. Free immunisations for all preschool children are available through Maternal & Child Health Centres in the Municipality. Vaccines including diptheria, whooping cough, oral polio, measles/mumps/rubella, helpatitis B (for eligible children), and HIB are available. Polio, tenanus and measles/mumps/rubella immunisations are available for adults.
