Emergency medical care/casualty. Accident and Emergency services for the hospital are provided by local general practitioners on a private practice basis located at the rear of the Hospital, off Harborview Terrace. Entry Procedures Eligibility - Admission by GP or specialist.

Southern Fleurieu Health Service

The Noarlunga Hospital ED is open 24 hours, seven days a week and 24-hour x-ray and pathology facilities are available on site.
There is a dedicated space for children and families which aims at making children feel more comfortable.
The ED team consists of medical officers, registered and enrolled nurses, clerical staff and client support staff. Access to Noarlunga Emergency Mental Health is also available in the ED.

The ED is located on Level 3 - please use the northern entrance. Open 24 hours. Our first priority is to treat patients with life or limb threatening illness or injuries, and these patients are attended urgently on arrival. On arrival to the Emergency Service, you will see a specialist emergency triage nurse to assess and determine the severity of your medical condition. This enables life-threatening conditions to be seen as an absolute high priority. The Ashford Emergency Service is predominantly an Adult Emergency Service to treat people who present for medical assistance.

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital ED is open 24- hours a day. When you arrive at the ED you will be seen by a senior nurse to collect information and assess your illness or injury. After seeing the triage nurse, you may be asked to wait in the waiting room. ED provides service to Adults and obstetrics.

24 hour Emergency Centre purpose built and staffed by highly qualified emergency doctors and nurses. Open 365 days a year. Patients are seen according to clinical priority.

Calvary Adelaide Hospital

The private Emergency Service has been established to provide assessment of patients with acute medical and surgical conditions who require an acute injury service, have a local doctor or specialist referral or have been a recent inpatient at the hospital only.
